Pool-Net will represent the Portuguese tooling industry at this year's K. The association is looking to impress with the capabilities of their industry members.
The Portuguese Engineering & Tooling Cluster, represented by Pool-Net and supported by Cefamol (The Portuguese Mouldmaking Association), aims to promote the excellence of Portuguese Moulds and Plastics Industries at K Fair, from 16 to 23 October, in Düsseldorf, Germany, (the main market for their exports), at Hall 1 of exhibition fairground. Involving a group of 17 companies under Cluster’s umbrella, the event will allow members to introduce their competencies and technical capabilities.
Portugal exports 90 % of its tooling production (Germany represents 22 % of the market share). Since 2010, under the common brand “Engineering & Tooling from Portugal”, the Portuguese toolmakers have increased their production and exports over 100 %, according to Pool-Net.
