ETMM: Your company has been involved in machine tool trials with a major global electronics producer. How are these trials progressing, and can you discuss the deal any further?

Heath: Sadly, we have no further comment at this time.

ETMM: How would securing a large contract with a top-level international manufacturer outside China affect your sales in Europe?

Heath: It would be a very large stone in our foundation to be sure. The requirements for a major manufacturer are always going to be more difficult to satisfy than a job shop. Proving our capability to support such customers outside of China would obviously be well-received by existing and potential customers.

ETMM: In which Europen countries do you expect the highest demand for your machine tools?

Heath: Germany, Italy, Poland and Russia for the time being.

ETMM: From what European manufacturing sectors do you expect the most interest in your products?

Heath: Job shops, small and middle size companies.

ETMM: You have opened an office and showroom in Frankfurt. How will you serve Europe?

Heath: We are relying on direct sales within Germany out of proximity to our European headquarters. In other European countries, we are in the process of establishing strong dealer and agent networks. European sales and service will be entirely self-sufficient very shortly. (meaning we will not be dispatching service or installation technicians from China).
