Italian automation specialist Comau and additive manufacturing company Roboze have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at integrating advanced 3D printing with industrial automation. The partnership seeks to address growing market demand for agile, cost-effective manufacturing solutions and opens new opportunities across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and motorsport.

The initiative combines Roboze’s strengths in high-performance part production with Comau’s expertise in digital factory automation. Together, the companies aim to provide customers with on-demand 3D printing capabilities that deliver repeatable results and high surface quality while optimising material usage and reducing waste.

Beyond technological integration, the two companies are also investing in talent development. Through their respective academies, Comau and Roboze plan to train the next generation of automation engineers, with a particular focus on additive manufacturing.
