The Corvaglia Group, a provider of closure solutions for beverage packaging, has entered a strategic partnership with Wisecap, a European producer of plastic caps and closures for the beverage industry, headquartered in Italy.

Under the agreement, Wisecap will integrate the caps manufacturing activities of Corvaglia Closures Eschlikon, a subsidiary of Corvaglia Holding, into its European production network, which comprises sites in Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, Poland and Egypt. In return, Corvaglia Group will take a minority stake in Wisecap and supply its leading injection-moulding technology and innovative closure designs to the Group.

Corvaglia underlined that it remains fully committed to its global beverage-closure business and will continue to cover the entire value chain. In Europe, this will be ensured through the new partnership with Wisecap. In the US and Mexico, Corvaglia will maintain its full-service model — from closure design and injection-moulding technology to production and application expertise.

The partnership will give European customers access to a broader portfolio of innovative beverage-closure solutions, combining Wisecap’s industrial scale and product diversity with Corvaglia’s moulding and design expertise. It will also help Wisecap shorten innovation cycles, strengthen technical support and increase supply flexibility across Europe — further reinforcing its position as one of the most advanced caps and closures manufacturers in the region.
