AGS introduces a new carbon-based modular system with profile tubes available in square, round, or octagonal designs at K in Düsseldorf. Combined with the established prism system, functional elements such as vacuum cups or grippers can be integrated. According to the company, the system offers weight reduction, high stiffness and simple connectivity.

Custom grippers for variable part sizes

To handle parts of different dimensions, AGS has developed new custom grippers. Fully compatible with the Precigrip system, they are designed to simplify changeovers and reduce setup times.

Textile gripper for sensitive materials

Another focus is on handling delicate materials. The new textile gripper is available in various versions and can be equipped with 4 to 32 needles of adjustable penetration depth. It is suitable not only for textiles but also for foams, fabrics, and insulating materials. Compact design and compatibility with lifting units enable flexible integration into existing systems.

Additional innovations

In addition to these highlights, AGS will present nine further developments, including:

  • 3D-printed gripper components for complex geometries,
  • profiles for various load requirements,
  • spring-loaded and self-locking gripper fingers,
  • a modular system for cobot applications,
  • custom systems with parallel grippers,
  • profiles with integrated air channels, and
  • a micro gripper system with 10x10 mm profiles.

With these innovations, AGS expands its modular system to address lightweight construction, functional integration, and flexible handling in plastics processing.
