Gewefa UK has rebranded as Nydaloxe Precision to reflect its development from a former subsidiary into an independent tooling specialist. The company now represents a wider portfolio of German and Swiss manufacturers, supplying toolholding systems, driven and static tool holders, angle heads and related services across Britain and Ireland.

Wiltshire-based tooling specialist Gewefa UK has announced a major corporate rebranding, officially changing its name to Nydaloxe Precision. Operating under the slogan “Tool Holding Without Limit”, the firm has adopted a new identity that reflects the evolution in its commercial direction since it was established in 1991.

While the early focus was on delivering the comprehensive range of high-precision spindle nose tool holders manufactured by its German parent company, Gewefa, the UK firm ceased to be a subsidiary some time ago. It is now an independent entity whose product portfolio has widened considerably to cater to a more extensive spectrum of engineering applications.

Today, Nydaloxe Precision operates as a sales and service agent for a variety of top-tier German and Swiss tooling product manufacturers. The scope of the equipment supplied includes driven and static turning tool holders, precision collet chucks, heat-shrink systems, spindle tool clamping systems, angle heads, speeders and multi-spindle heads, and the intention is to add to the range in the near future. The current list of principals is: EWS Tool Technologies, Fahrion, Gewefa, Kemmler, Ott-Jakob, Pibomulti, Rineck and Wendel Tools.

Commenting on the landmark transition, director Nicole Lloyd-Foxe said: “The name change is a direct result of how our business has developed over the past three and a half decades. While we were founded as a subsidiary of Gewefa in Burladingen, southern Germany, our operation has since expanded to include a much more diverse range of standard and bespoke tooling packages.

“Over the years we have streamlined our working practices, invested heavily in our team and facilities, and integrated preventative maintenance services into our offering to customers. It remains very much business as usual. We are looking forward to continuing our longstanding relationships with valued customers and are excited to forge new partnerships with more machine tool suppliers, OEMs and subcontractors across Britain and Ireland.”

Alongside the fresh branding and change of name, Nydaloxe Precision has launched a new website: www.nydaloxeprecision.com.
