Software company Ency has announced the launch of Ency Academy, a new online learning center designed to help users and partners master CNC machine programming and offline robot programming with the company’s software suite. The platform is now live at learn.encycam.com and, for the time being, all courses are offered free of charge.

At its debut, Ency Academy provides two structured learning tracks: CNC Machine Programming with ENCY CAD/CAM and Offline Robot Programming with Ency Robot CAD/CAM/OLP. The curriculum will gradually expand to cover the full Ency X ecosystem and include specialized training for different machining applications.

The courses follow a clear structure that begins with an introductory video explaining objectives and expected skills, continues with step-by-step video demonstrations of tasks, and provides downloadable resources such as project files and models. Each course is tagged with a suggested skill level to ensure learners can follow the material effectively. All content is kept current with the latest Ency product releases, with lessons revised or added whenever new features are introduced.

Although the courses are self-paced, Ency Academy also allows direct interaction with instructors. Learners can submit questions, request additional examples, or provide feedback to improve the training experience. At the conclusion of each program, participants complete a practical assignment such as programming a CNC part, configuring a robot cell or optimizing an existing project. Successful completion is recognized with an official Ency certificate, which serves as proof of competence and can support career advancement or internal qualification processes.

According to Ency Software, the new academy significantly shortens the learning curve for its products, enabling faster adoption and smoother transitions from first project setup to production-ready programs. By combining structured, hands-on instruction with real-world practice cases, the company aims to ensure that learners can confidently apply their skills in industrial environments. The addition of certification further underscores the academy’s value, providing users with tangible evidence of their expertise.
