Live production proved to be a key attraction for Dr Boy at Kuteno 2026. With the Boy XS E manufacturing sporks and the Boy 35 Electric producing reusable cable ties, the company demonstrated compact, precise and energy-efficient injection moulding for small-part applications.

At Kuteno 2026 in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, Dr Boy highlighted its Boy XS E and the Boy 35 Electric machines. Accoding to the company, both live applications proved to be real crowd-pullers, attracting numerous visitors to the stand.

The Boy XS E produced a so-called “spork” live on the stand – a practical combination of spoon and fork in a single component. The compact injection moulding machine offers a wide range of applications in micro and small-part moulding and impresses with high precision while requiring minimal floor space.

The Boy 35 Electric demonstrated its capabilities by producing reusable cable ties. The electromechanical injection moulding machine achieves high dynamics, precise injection performance and energy-efficient production.

“Numerous high-quality discussions and newly established contacts created a consistently positive atmosphere and laid a promising foundation for future projects”, the company stated in a press release.
