From 19 to 22 May 2026, Plastpol will take place for the 30th time — and Arburg Poland has been there from the very beginning. This trade fair in Kielce is regarded as an important barometer of the mood in the Polish plastics and rubber industry. This makes it the perfect stage for Arburg (Hall E, Stand E30) to launch its new standard electric machines in Poland. On display is an Allrounder 1800 e Trend with a Multilift Select. This linear robot system produces spatulas. The second machine on display, also an automated hybrid Allrounder 470 H, produces drinking cups.

At its exhibition stand, the company’s experts will also explain how to further improve production efficiency, with the help of tailored injection moulding solutions and digital products and services. They will also demonstrate how this reduces the energy requirement and delivers traceable production processes. On display will be Arburg’s own Manufacturing Execution System (ALS), the Arburg-X-World customer portal and smart assistance functions in the control system.

The electric Allrounder Trend machines are suitable for standard applications across all industries and are available worldwide. They can be set up remarkably quickly, they are intuitive to operate and easy to maintain, and they deliver low investment and operating costs. At launch, four machine sizes with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 2,000 kN will be available. All of these Trend machines will be equipped with the new Gestica lite control system, featuring an intuitive user interface and a clearly laid-out dashboard.

At Plastpol 2026, an Allrounder 1800 e Trend with a 4-cavity cold runner mould from Akro-Plastic will be showcased. It produces spatulas automatically. This turnkey system was implemented by Arburg Poland in collaboration with local partners. The removal of moulded parts and their set-down onto a conveyor belt is carried out by a Multilift Select 8 linear robot system. A six-axis robot feeds the spatulas to a laser station, where they are customised.

Automated: Hybrid Allrounder produces drinking cups

The second injection moulding exhibit is a hybrid Allrounder 470 H with a clamping force of 1,000 kN from the Hidrive series. In a cycle time of around 24 seconds, a 2-cavity tool from Adoma produces high-quality 0.5-litre drinking cups made of transparent PET as a practical and sustainable alternative to glass and disposable items. A Multilift Select 8 linear robot system also handles the removal and set-down of the moulded parts in this application.

The hybrid Allrounders of the Hidrive (H) series combine an electric, energy-efficient and precise clamping unit with a hydraulic, powerful and dynamic injection unit. They impress above all with reduced acquisition and operating costs, as well as an optimised energy balance and shorter cycle times.

Arburg as a solution partner for individual tasks

Due to the shortage of skilled workers and rising labour costs, the turnkey business is also becoming increasingly important in Poland. Arburg considers itself as a partner offering its customers tailor-made complete solutions that go far beyond mere machine technology. In addition to automation, turnkey systems and peripheral equipment, these also include comprehensive after-sales support.

Visitors to the exhibition can also gain an overview of digital features and innovations from Arburg’s host computer system, the Arburg-X-World customer portal, and Arburg Remote Service (ARS). The new Gestica lite control system will be demonstrated on a simulator. In addition, numerous assistance and pilot functions will be demonstrated on the control systems of the machine exhibits, including the “aXw Control Energy Assist” and the “aXw Control Recyclate Pilot”. Experts will explain how smart, efficient and sustainable plastic parts production can be achieved, accompanied by the benefits of reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) and improved part quality.
