Among Synventive's exhibits at Fakuma are its Plug 'n' Play hot runner systems and its latest Active Gate technologies for actively controlled melt flow.
The company says it focuses on the result of the injection moulder, namely, high-quality parts with demanding surface quality and optimum dimensional accuracy as well as high reproducibility.
Another highlight is the third-generation Synflow, which is a further development of the established 2-speed needle opening control for high-quality surfaces in cascade injection moulding. Synflow now offers the user even more possibilities and a new user-friendly interface to avoid visible defects on sequentially filled parts. A very significant addition to Synflow’s functionality is the ability to stop the pin and hold it at any position mid-stroke. This allows for individual flow rate control of each nozzle to balance family moulds or fill complex multi-gated geometries. Alternating opening profiles can even be programmed, offering the ability to pre-fill cold runners or create differential packing within complex multi-gated parts, the company explains.
