Modig, a Swedish machine tool manufacturer, has entered a strategic partnership with Spain's Ibarmia, acquiring a substantial minority stake. This collaboration aims to expand their geographical and sectoral presence, driving growth and innovation.

Swedish machine tool manufacturer Modig, a leading manufacturer of machining solutions for high productivity and automation applications, and Ibarmia, a manufacturer of customised and flexible machining centers from Spain, announced the signature of a strategic partnership. In support of the alliance, Modig will take a substantial minority stake in the capital of Ibarmia.

This strategic partnership aims to bolster both companies’ geographical and sectoral presence, fostering new growth opportunities and synergies for both. The parties will also explore synergies in manufacturing.
