Lach Diamant is set to showcase its extensive range of diamond and CBN tools and grinding wheels at Grinding Hub 2024 in Stuttgart, taking place from May 14th to 17th. This international exhibition focuses on grinding technology, where the company will present both traditional and innovative solutions under its “Future for Today” portfolio.

Founded in 1922, Lach Diamant brings over a century of expertise in grinding services for natural diamonds and the maintenance of various diamond tools, including single-point dressing and profile diamonds, multi-point dressers, and the high-tech diamond dressing plate Dia-Fliese-perfect. The company also offers diamond precision dressing rolls and Drebojet-plus CNC dressing wheels for profile dressing in series production.

The company's offerings extend to a wide array of diamond and boron nitride (CBN) grinding wheels tailored for grinding hardened steels, HSS, carbides, and ceramics. These are available in various bond types, with a focus on maximizing tool life and efficiency. Among its standout innovations is the metal-bond contour-profiled grinding wheel for profile grinding in series production, which allows for the skipping of several costly grinding processes.

The contour-profiled grinding wheels are known for their unique performance, made possible through specially developed metal bonds and manufacturing processes. These wheels feature multi-layered spikes for enhanced grinding performance, capable of achieving high surface quality up to 2 µ. Comparable to electro-plated grinding wheels, the contour-profiled wheels offer superior stability and performance, with the ability to be re-profiled up to 35 times.

Additionally, Lach Diamant's exhibition will include a comprehensive selection of products for mould and tool construction, ranging from diamond needle files to diamond and CBN grinding wheels for internal grinding, and finishing products like diamond pastes and the unique diamond spray MF programme. The lineup is completed with special polycrystalline cutting tools, including the patented IC-plus chip breaker for aluminium turning and the Dreborid-G CBN cutting insert Duo-Power for turning hardened steels, promising doubled performance.
