Exeron Fully automatic stand-alone change system handles up to 50 electrodes, five pallets

Exeron has recently introduced its EDM 313 machine, featuring the company's eroding control MF30 as well as an automatic change system for electrodes and pallets.

The change system Awex 100/5 together with integrated identification and job management is said to be a cost-effective solution for the stand-alone automation for EDM machines such as the EDM 313.

The automation system can handle up to 100 electrodes and five pallets, the company said. It added that the system is designed for all clamping systems common at the market. The recently introduced controller features a full-touch operating concept for high operating comfort, Exeron stated.
