At EMO Hannover 2025 Fehlmann Maschinenfabrik will showcase from September 22 to 26 in Hall 12, Booth C40, efficient solutions for modern manufacturing. The focus will be on innovative machine tools and flexible automation systems for single-part and small-batch production — live in action.

The new Picomax 550 PRO takes center stage at the booth. This compact, user-friendly, and highly versatile 5-axis CNC machine impresses with high precision, ease of use and powerful components.

For the first time, it will be shown with an integrated automation solution: A fast, compact 6-axis robotic system automatically loads and unloads workpiece pallets. Both the CNC machine and robot are centrally controlled via the Fehlmann Milling Center Manager (MCM™) – ensuring maximum transparency, efficiency, and flexibility. Torque drives, compact design, and intuitive control make the system highly precise and space-efficient.

Thanks to the open system architecture of Fehlmann machining centers, they can be integrated into a wide variety of production environments – including connections to control systems like Erowa, Soflex, Promot, or barcode-based tool identification.

Another highlight is the 5-axis high-performance machining center Versa 745, combined with the new Erowa Robot Compact 150 (ERC 150). This compact cell enables automated handling of workpieces up to 150 kg with minimal space requirements and high pallet capacity. Entirely controlled via the Fehlmann Milling Center Manager (MCM), this solution is ideal for both series production and even small-batch runs.

The 5-axis milling and grinding center Versa 645 linear combines 5-axis milling, hard milling, and coordinate grinding in one system. With high mechanical accuracy, thermal stability, and robust construction, the Versa series offers ideal conditions for integrating the grinding function. Complete machining in a single setup reduces lead times and increases final part quality.

For applications in single-part/small-batch manufacturing, tooling, and practical vocational training, Fehlmann presents the proven Picomax 56 L TOP and Picomax 56 mill. Both allow easy switching between manual and CNC operation. The mill version with handwheels is especially suited for training.

The TOP concept (Touch Or Program) of the Picomax 56 allows manual operation using a drilling lever and handwheels, as well as CNC machining with the benefits of a 3-/4-axis CNC machine — even without programming knowledge.

The Picomax 21-M is a compact, robust drilling and milling machine with a motorized table feed — ideal for training, workshops, and low-volume part production. Functions such as point patterns, hole circles, or rectangular pockets can be carried out quickly and precisely – manually or automatically using the feed motor.

All Fehlmann CNC machines are available with the intuitive Heidenhain TNC7 control, offering maximum user-friendliness and productivity. As a certified Heidenhain training partner, Fehlmann offers practical, hands-on training directly from the manufacturer — ensuring efficient onboarding and smooth operations.
