EDM specialist Sodick will be presenting a selection of EDM machines at this year’s Moulding Expo in Stuttgart, including the latest ALC600P I-Groove+ with 8-axis simultaneous control and the AL60G+ series with Erowa automation.

This year, Sodick will once again be represented at Moulding Expo in Stuttgart with powerful EDM solutions on a stand covering almost 100 square meters. Trade visitors can see the latest EDM machines and automation solutions from the Japanese machine manufacturer up close.

The combination of innovative machines, automation solutions and a clear focus on sustainability makes Sodick an indispensable partner for companies that want to achieve the highest precision in modern manufacturing. At the exhibition stand, the EDM specialist will be demonstrating this with the ALC600P I-Groove+ with 8-axis simultaneous control and the AL60G+ series in conjunction with the Erowa ERC80 automation solution. Both machines are also characterized by their improved user-friendliness and a very efficient energy-saving manager.

The ALC600P I-Groove+, with its patented I-Groove technology, sets a new standard in the field of wire EDM. The wire is continuously rotated during the finishing process, resulting in significantly improved surface quality and geometric precision.

All Sodick + series are equipped as standard with a newly developed energy-saving management system and highly efficient, electronically controlled energy-saving pumps to maximize their customers' competitiveness.

In addition, Sodick's patented I-Groove technology in the ALC series enables customers to save approximately 30 percent on EDM wire.

In addition, the quality of the machine is a major topic, where Sodick impresses with typical premium machine construction, such as the built-in linear motors and ceramic components.

The Sodick ALC-P series has a positioning accuracy of 1 µ, a temperature-controlled table and is equipped with advanced temperature compensation sensors.

Unmanned production is still a hot topic, and Sodick offers its customers a highly flexible and broad range of automation solutions: from simple plug & play cell solutions to articulated arm or linear automation.
