Precision tool manufacturer, Big Kaiser, has launched new additions to its Mega Torque Wrench range. These state-of-the-art wrenches feature a torque limiter, enabling superior clamping precision for shaft tools and ensuring flawless milling performance.

Expanding on the existing range, the new torque wrenches from Big Kaiser now cover diameters up to 60 mm, offering even more versatility for customers. The original Mega Torque Wrenches already cater to diameters ranging from 10 mm to 46 mm and are compatible with Mega Micro Chuck, Mega New Baby Chuck and Mega E Chuck.

Additionally, the company introduces the TTL versions of the Mega Torque Wrench, comprising the MGR 16 TTL, MGR 20 TTL, and MGR 30 TTL models, specifically designed to support diameters from 16 mm to 30 mm. These TTL versions are engineered for Big Kaiser's MGR tapping tools, addressing the need for precise torque settings when working with cylindrical shafts.

Giampaolo Roccatello, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Europe at Big Kaiser, emphasizes the significance of accurate torque in clamping shaft tools, stating: “Achieving the correct torque during clamping is of utmost importance for the precision of cutting and the surface quality of the workpiece — under- and over-torquing both cause problems.”

In addition to the extended torque wrench range, Big Kaiser also offers alternative solutions for clamping tools with precise torque. The Digital Mega Torque Wrench MGR-TL/P simplifies setting the recommended torque for each collet chuck, providing feedback through LED indicators and an easy-to-read display. The handle features vibration and a buzzer that signals when the target torque is reached. Furthermore, the digital torque wrench is available with MGR20 to MGR46 adaptors, and the wrench heads are detachable for use with all kinds of Big Kaiser tools.

Another option presented by Big Kaiser is the Torque Fit, a tooling fixture featuring an integrated tightening torque measurement system, designed to be used in combination with the Mega Roller Wrenches. With preprogrammed torque values for all Big Kaiser collet chucks, the Torque Fit ensures user-friendly operation, while also allowing users to set their own custom torque values.

The Mega Torque Wrenches, along with the Digital Mega Torque Wrench MGR-TL/P and the Torque Fit tooling fixture, are all available now, equipping manufacturers with enhanced precision and efficiency in their milling processes.
