Whether it's Holmes and Watson or Batman and Robin: these dynamic duos complement each other with their different skills and character traits and have therefore become particularly successful and popular. “The situation is similar with the two materials ceramic and steel for mould making, except that this duo is still more of an industry secret than its popular role models,” says Stephen Rapp, Product Manager at Zecha Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrikation GmbH, with a smile. “And we - BCE Special Ceramics GmbH, Kramski GmbH and Zecha - would like to change that in a joint project, as we see the potential for injection moulding toolmaking and the entire industry to benefit from more ceramics!”
