Standard parts manufacturer Strack Norma renews its cooperation with the company Desoi and includes thread unscrewing units in its program with immediate effect. The cooperation enables the Lüdenscheid-based company to offer its customers a faster, more precise and more economical alternative to conventional thread demoulding techniques.

Since their market launch in 2009, Desoi's thread unscrewing units have established themselves as leaders in the industry. The SR compact unscrewing unit further extends this recipe for success and combines all the advantages of the previously available products, including accessories and add-on variants, in a single closed assembly.

The basic idea of the thread unscrewing units is based on a structure consisting of a base plate, gear plate, lead screw nut, core holder and cover plate. However, the design of the compact unscrewing unit is simple and user-friendly to make the application even more intuitive. The threaded core is installed without the need to disassemble the unit. To do this, the core holder is fully extended from the unit and can be easily removed. This means that a worn threaded core can be replaced easily and without long interruptions to production.

The compact unscrewing unit also offers integrated active core cooling on request, as well as improved sensor technology, all housed in a compact and protected design. This guarantees a high level of safety as no open gears are exposed. The new sensor connection allows easy adjustment of the end positions, thus realizing a smooth approach of the core holder to the fixed stop. This results in a significant reduction of the cooling time, which again significantly reduces the cycle times compared to the uncooled standard version and thus contributes to a cost reduction in production.

The compact unscrewing unit is currently available in various designs: single, double, quadruple or eight-angle unscrewing unit. The double and quadruple unscrewing units are particularly suitable when several internal threads are to be demoulded simultaneously in the same plane, direction and pitch. These units are available in various center distances to meet individual requirements.

The continued partnership between Desoi and Strack focuses on innovation and technology to increase efficiency, accuracy and economy in the production of threaded components with the compact unscrewing unit.
