With its new range of slide construction kits, Strack Norma is focusing on a variety of customisation options to meet the specific requirements and needs of its customers. The new injection mould slide kits replace the previous Z4200 system.

The ability to customise heights, lengths and widths allows users to seamlessly integrate the new Z42010 slide kits into their production workflow. They are now available in 33 different sizes to cover a wide range of applications.

An important feature is the outer radius, which makes it easier to produce the pockets in the mould. This practical approach also ensures reliable and safe use. The Z42030 guide pads feature a diamond-like coating (DLC), which results in low-friction movement of the slides. This coating not only significantly extends the life of the guide pads, but also ensures low maintenance movement of the slides.

The slide kits can be used as either a complete assembly or as individual components, allowing a high degree of flexibility to meet specific requirements. The slides are equipped with a special slide insert adaptor which allows a choice of materials with a hardness of 54 +/- 2 HRC. Complementary thrust pieces with the Z42050 inclined column adapter are also available and can be combined with the new Z72 tapered head inclined column.

The flexibility and wide range of component variants allow easy adaptation to specific mould installation situations. This not only increases efficiency in design and mould making, but also provides the basis for customised solutions.
