Quickparts UK announced the lineup of distinguished speakers for its upcoming Open House event on 6th December, 2023. Tal Golesworthy, known as ‘the man who mended his own heart’, will serve as the keynote speaker for the Quickparts UK Open House. As the Technical Director at Exstent, Golesworthy has played a pivotal role in driving advancements in medical technology. His expertise in the development of patient-specific implants has garnered international recognition.

Attendees can look forward to an energetic and insightful presentation from Golesworthy, who will share his experiences, with a focus on the intersection of 3D printing and personalised healthcare solutions. Quickparts has collaborated with Tal since 2002.

Frank Worcester, Design Engineer at Cerca Magnetics, will present a compelling case study on the production of components for an MRI scanning device that pushes the boundaries of design and engineering as well as medical imaging technologies. His case study will provide attendees with a deep dive into the challenges, breakthroughs, and the pathway to production associated with developing medical imaging technologies.

The Open House event also offers the opportunity for industry professionals to meet with the Quickparts UK team, and explore the technologies available for product development and low volume production.
