The H 1000 clamping system from Meusburger provides precise and repeatable clamping, enhancing efficiency and quality in mold manufacturing. This system is designed to clamp at critical points for mould function, specifically within guide holes, facilitating both speed and accuracy of operation.

Developed in-house, the H 1000 provides precision clamping in the micro range with consistent repeatability. This results in improved mould quality and reduced set-up times, providing efficiency gains for customers. Meusburger offers six plate sizes in the system, available immediately from stock, along with the necessary accessories and a clamping scheme.

The plates are stress-relieved in Meusburger's own furnaces and are subject to stringent quality control to ensure high product standards. Initial alignment of the system to set the zero point for the X and Y axes is only required once, and the H 1000 is compatible with both milling centres and EDM machines.

The system also supports insert clamping. Multiple clamping supports with centring features can be attached to the mounting holes in the base plate. These supports use clamping spigots that fit into threads on the insert, allowing easy and secure positioning. This configuration leaves five sides of the workpiece unobstructed, and height adjustments can be made in 40mm increments using an extension piece, ensuring central clamping and repeatable accuracy.

In addition, Meusburger's H 1080 clamping supports make it easy to clamp inserts and workpieces of different sizes. When used with the H 20100 clamping plate, these supports allow flexible positioning within a 20 mm hole grid. Once the highly accurate alignment edge of the clamping plate is set on the machine table, workpieces can be clamped efficiently and accurately, significantly reducing set-up times and simplifying programming.
