Software company Module Works has announced Mitsubishi Electric as the latest participant in its Strategic Partner Program, a collaboration aimed at enhancing the development of intelligent, integrated manufacturing solutions. This partnership follows previous collaboration efforts between the two companies in the area of shop floor digitalization.

By joining the program, Mitsubishi Electric has also acquired a minority stake in Module Works, deepening their collaborative relationship. This move is expected to boost the development of Mitsubishi’s forthcoming automation and industrial control technologies.

Toshie Takeuchi, Group President of the Factory Automation Systems Group at Mitsubishi Electric, commented on the partnership, highlighting Mitsubishi's commitment to addressing contemporary challenges in society through advanced factory automation systems. The partnership aims to create more user-friendly solutions, contributing to solving issues like labor shortages and facilitating knowledge transfer in the engineering sector.

Dr. Yavuz Murtezaoglu, Founder and Managing Director of Module Works, expressed enthusiasm about Mitsubishi Electric joining the program. He emphasised that such partnerships are crucial for accelerating technological advancements and promoting digital transformation in manufacturing.
