Mazak strengthens its foothold in Spain by partnering with Madrid-based IP Grupo to expand its laser business, tapping into the country's growing automotive and architectural furniture sectors.

Spain is seen as a key market for Mazak, which already has a longstanding CNC machine tool representative, Intermaher. With the region’s burgeoning automotive and architectural furniture industries providing significant growth opportunities, Mazak has selected Madrid-based IP Grupo as its strategic partner to further develop its laser business across the country.

The move reinforces what is already proving to be a strong year for Mazak, with robust laser sales across Europe following the launch of two new machine series: the Optiplex Neo and Optiplex Ez.

The partnership has started strongly, with IP Grupo already delivering a sale of an FG-400 Neo to a manufacturer in Zaragoza.
