The developer and manufacturer of high-precision machining centres and contract production of machined parts in the micro and nano domains says it will showcase optimal solutions for customers who need fully automated series machines for high-precision components in the nano range. The presentation to a broad professional audience will be taking place place for the first time.
According to Kern Microtechnik, Micro Pro has compact dimensions, providing solutions for manufacturing companies that need to produce high-precision components in a dynamic and productive series-production environment, while keeping a close eye on both the space requirements and cost factors.
The Micro Pro is equipped with an integrated workpiece and tool changer, requires less than four square meters of floor space and is also good for unmanned multi-shift operations, while not needing external attachments. Optimised for series production, the machine enables both high precision and optimal utilisation of its workspace, mainly because of its intelligent and fully integrated fourth and fifth axes.
At AMB 2018, visitors will be able to experience the performance of the new machining centre close up, whereby the machining of various graphite components will be demonstrated at the company booth in Hall 7, Booth B75.
