Nozzle series with convenient cable outlet

The Vario Shot nozzle series from Hasco hot runner is designed for demanding plastics and has now been expanded. Therefore, a cable outlet towards the centre of the nozzle is now also available in addition to the familiar heating outlet near the nozzle head. Its advantage is that the connecting cables of the nozzle can be laid away from the hot side in the nozzle holding plate.

The heater can be conveniently replaced directly on the injection moulding machine. Downtimes would be greatly reduced, especially in the case of multiple hot runner moulds or valve gate applications. Work steps such as disassembly, removal, needle pulling, assembly and set-up are eliminated, which improves ease of maintenance during servicing.

Even the thermal sensor of the hot runner nozzle, the manufacturer points out, can be replaced from the parting line. The thermal sensor can be easily dismantled and mounted through a recess in the brass body of the heater. In close coordination with the customer, the Hasco hot-runner team develops the best individual type according to the requirements.

In case of repair, all spare parts are available from stock. The various replacement heaters and thermal sensors for each nozzle size are clearly presented in the service area of the Hasco portal. A quick and compact overview of all Hasco hot runner spare parts is provided by the multilingual catalogue, which is available for free download at www.Hasco.com, around the clock. Especially for the maintenance and servicing of hot runner systems, this offers the best possible and particularly customer-friendly support for finding the required spare parts quickly.

GSM tracking for injection moulds

It is not uncommon for injection moulding tools to be used at different locations. Whether the production of plastic parts is flexibly relocated in larger companies, for example, or whether moulds are lent out to different injection moulding companies. In these cases, the new Loc Check A5900/... merits a closer look. It enables the location of an injection mould to be localised quickly and easily at any time - anywhere in the world where there is a GSM network (today: Global System for Mobile Communications).

With GSM tracking, the position is retrieved via an easy-to-use web interface. Hasco guarantees the highest level of data security through the use of certified servers.

One battery charge is sufficient for over 3,000 transmission cycles, which means a runtime of up to three years, depending on the number of cycles. With a magnetic holder, the Loc Check A5900/... can be easily and directly attached to the tool. The transmitter can be used up to a temperature of 120 °C.
