At Fakuma 2024, FKUR will present a wide range of sustainable plastics aimed at promoting recyclable packaging solutions. The company, renowned for its innovative materials, will display various biobased, recycled, and hybrid compounds at its stand, offering visitors an insight into cutting-edge sustainable alternatives for non-food applications.

A key focus of FKUR’s exhibit will be its Macolen brand, which features high-quality polypropylene (PP) recyclate compounds. Sourced from post-consumer and pre-consumer materials, these recyclates closely replicate the properties of virgin plastics in terms of odour and technical performance. Macolen is available in injection moulding and profile extrusion grades, with options including non-reinforced and talcum-reinforced (20 percent and 40 percent) variants.

FKUR will also highlight its Terralene rPP product family, a hybrid solution combining the environmental benefits of recyclates with biobased materials. The recyclate content of Terralene rPP ranges from 30 to 60 percent, with up to 33 percent biobased content. Known for its recyclability and natural granule colour, the product is designed for non-food applications.

For manufacturers seeking immediate sustainability improvements in food packaging, FKUR offers its biobased, recyclable Terralene family of bioplastics. These polyethylene-based solutions are derived from renewable resources and are suitable for processes such as injection moulding, blow moulding, and film extrusion.

In addition to its proprietary compounds, FKUR’s stand will feature Eucertplast-certified PE and PP recyclates, widely used in injection moulding, blow moulding, and extrusion. The company is actively expanding its distribution portfolio, aiming to strengthen collaborations with recycling partners and broaden its offerings, particularly in the technical thermoplastics sector.

FKUR's dedication to sustainability has also been recognised with an Ecovadis Bronze certification, placing the company in the top 35 percent of global plastics manufacturers. This accolade highlights FKUR’s ongoing efforts to implement a circular economy and reduce reliance on fossil resources, a goal the company shares with its customers.
