The Sauerland-based injection moulding company Camatta Kunststofferzeugnisse produces, among other things, glazing blocks for fixing insulating glass panes in plastic windows. Thanks to the use of standard mould units and hot runner technology from Hasco, annual output has significantly increased.

By a stroke of luck, Reinhard Camatta and his son Patrick acquired their own injection moulding machines in 2013. Initially, Reinhard Camatta, who had been self-employed in the sale of plastic pipes since 1995, only wanted to buy two extruders from his main supplier. The “deal” ultimately ended with the acquisition of seven additional injection moulding machines.
