Construction of Bruderer’s new facility will begin in October this year. The site will act as a centre of excellence for the service of new and used machines, the restoration of older presses and will include a showroom for newer models, equipment and integrated solutions.

The company intends to move its current operations from Luton to Shropshire over the next nine months. The move will coincide with the creation of four new jobs and an apprenticeship scheme, reflecting the growing demand for Bruderer's technology.

Adrian Haller, Managing Director of Bruderer UK, said: “This investment has been in the planning stages for some time, and it’s affirming to see support from our parent company for this UK expansion. The UK was one of our initial expansions outside of Switzerland, and it has continued to be a pivotal location for our presses, as evidenced by several recent investments from domestic companies”.

Haller added that the move was logical given the company's growth and its strong base in the Midlands. The Hortonwood site gives them the opportunity to consolidate their services in one location. There will also be a focus on employee facilities, with amenities including landscaped gardens, air conditioning, showers, changing rooms and EV charging points.

Specialising in high precision stamping technology, Bruderer UK stands out in the industry. Its high-speed presses are renowned for their performance, precision and reliability. The company primarily deals in the BSTA series, which has a wide range of capabilities.

In addition, by working with equipment suppliers, Bruderer offers comprehensive solutions that include a range of tooling and monitoring systems.

Adrian, who has been with Bruderer UK since 1998, emphasised the benefits to customers, highlighting the new demonstration centre. This facility will provide hands-on training, allowing customers to familiarise themselves with Bruderer's advanced stamping machines.

Andreas Fischer, Chairman of Bruderer, acknowledged the historical significance of Shropshire in the Industrial Revolution and its contemporary relevance to the company's operations. He was optimistic about the company's future prospects in the UK, building on their long-standing relationship.
