Female Machinist 2025: The success stories of female professionals

The Anca Female Machinist Award recognises the outstanding achievements of women in the precision tooling industry. The award aims to highlight the achievements and growing importance of female professionals in tooling technology.

Jennifer Baldus, Managing Director of Spreyer-Werkzeugtechnik in Limburg and member of the jury, said: “For 50 years, Spreyer has stood for precision and performance in the tooling industry. Our success has always been down to dedicated and talented people — both women and men. Today, in my daily interactions with customers, I see that women are more in demand than ever in our industry. The “Female Machinist of the Year” competition puts the outstanding achievements of female precision tool grinders in the spotlight, creates important role models and encourages young talent to pursue a career in this demanding and fascinating field.”

Women of all skill levels who actively use Anca technology in their work are invited to participate. The jury will evaluate the criteria of professional achievements, problem-solving skills, and critical and creative thinking based on a questionnaire.

The winner of the Female Machinist Award will receive:

  • A complete package to attend a major trade show where Anca is exhibiting
  • Exclusive networking opportunities with Anca executives, engineers and product experts
