The heart of metal working will beat in Stuttgart in 2024 when the who's who in the industry will meet at AMB from 10 to 14 September 2024. After the end of the registration phase in October 2023, the project team is now starting to plan the layout of the exhibition halls. The current number of registrations makes the exhibition managers optimistic about the forthcoming AMB. It is expected that all ten exhibition halls will be fully occupied again.

“Despite the highly volatile economic situation at present, the metal working industry has marked AMB permanently in its exhibition calendar. The current number of stand registrations, including those from market and technology leaders, is a clear indication of the importance of AMB for the metal working industry. We would like to thank you for your loyalty which is encouraging us to permanently develop AMB. In 2024, you as an exhibitor or a visitor can again look forward to the leading platform for metal cutting companies from all over Europe and the world,” said Sebastian Schmid, Vice President of Messe Stuttgart.

Thematic hall planning for 2024

In the previous editions of AMB the entire area of the Stuttgart Trade Fair Center was fully occupied. Due to the current number of registrations, the AMB project team is again expecting that all ten exhibition halls will be fully occupied with a total exhibition area of more than 120,000 square metres. The thematic arrangement and hall planning have already been defined. In the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) and the Ceratizit Hall (Hall 3) trade visitors will be able to obtain information about machining and chucking tools. Trade visitors will find the latest information about grinding, honing, polishing, lapping, deburring, gear cutting, surface technology and inscription in Hall 5. Lathes will be the focal point in the Mahle Hall (Hall 4). Lathes, milling machines, industrial robots and handling of workpieces and tools will be presented in the Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6). Lathes, milling machines, eroding machines and measuring systems will be found in Hall 7. Hall 9 will focus on milling and drilling machines. The emphasis will also be on milling and lathe turning in the Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10). Exhibitors in the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) will provide information about parts, components, operating materials and sawing machines. The topics of digitalisation, software and control and drive systems will be found in and outside Hall C2 (ICS).

Thanks to the short distances, visitors will also be able to obtain a very good overview on just one day.

“With our unique location between Stuttgart International Airport, the A8 motorway and the B27 trunk road, visitors and exhibitors can reach us quickly and conveniently,” said Sebastian Schmid. “We are also connected to the public transport network via the urban and underground railway lines with short frequencies. Your ticket also allows you to use the urban and underground railway trains free of charge. Whether you come to AMB for just one day or several days, the infrastructure and location of the exhibition will provide you with ideal conditions for an extensive visit. We are looking forward to seeing you!”
