The 34th edition of BI-MU, a key event in the manufacturing and technology sector, will take place from 9 to 12 October at Fieramilano Rho. Organised by Efim-Ente Fiere Italiane Macchine and promoted by Ucimu-Sistemi per Produrre, the exhibition will feature eight thematic areas ranging from robotics and AI to additive manufacturing and cybersecurity.

The 34th edition of BI-MU, a biennial exhibition dedicated to machine tools, robots, automation systems and various other aspects of manufacturing and technology, will be held at Fieramilano Rho from 9 to 12 October. The event is organised by Efim-Ente FIere Italie Macchine and promoted by Ucimu-Sistemi per Produure, an association of Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots and automation systems.

BI-MU aims to cover a wide range of topics within the industry and offers eight different exhibition themes. These include Robotheart, which focuses on robotics and artificial intelligence; Più Additive, which covers additive manufacturing; BI-MU Digital, which focuses on digital connectivity and cybersecurity; Metrology and Testing, which covers measurement and quality control; Power4machines, which is dedicated to mechatronic solutions; Heat and Surface Treatment; and two other thematic areas dedicated to composites and consulting services.

In addition to the product displays, the event will include a series of meetings and discussions aimed at providing thematic insights into the industry. There will also be a new initiative focusing on education and employment, designed to foster links between educational institutions and industry companies.

The exhibition will be promoted through a special campaign dedicated to each of its eight technological themes. Alfredo Mariotti, General Manager of Ucimu-Sistemi per Produure, noted that BI-MU has a history of 65 years of tracking and presenting technological advances and trends in the industry. The 34th BI-MU aims to continue this tradition by providing a comprehensive overview of current innovations in the manufacturing sector.
