Mastercam has been selected as the official software for the machining competitions at World Skills 2013, according to CNC Software Inc, the program’s supplier

The three competitions at the biennial event, scheduled for 2-7 July in Leipzig, Germany, are CNC Turning, CNC Milling, and the Manufacturing Team Challenge. The Manufacturing Challenge requires the teams to use Mastercam to produce parts on lathe and milling machines that may be assembled together to produce a workable product, CNC Software said.
