The German filtration specialist Vomat is highlighting its vertically integrated manufacturing approach for cooling lubricant filtration systems used in industrial metalworking applications, including grinding and tool manufacturing.

Based in Treuen, the company develops and manufactures key system components in-house, covering design, steel and filter construction, cooling technology, electrical engineering, control systems and final assembly. According to Vomat, this structure supports consistent quality, process stability and flexibility in customer-specific solutions.

Steffen Strobel, Technical Sales Manager at Vomat, said: “This close integration of all production steps enables us to seamlessly control quality and functionality. Metalworkers benefit from a complete package from a single source with maximum process reliability, durable components, and low-maintenance systems.”

Vomat positions its filtration technology as an alternative to conventional belt, cartridge and gravity-based filters. The company states that its systems provide constant filtration in the 3–5 µm range, combined with demand-driven backflushing and integrated temperature control to maintain stable cooling lubricant conditions.

According to Strobel, the combination of these features delivers economic and operational benefits: “This combination makes Vomat systems particularly economical, sustainable, and, in many areas, superior to standard solutions on the market.”

Vomat also cites its in-house production capabilities as a basis for rapid adaptation to application-specific requirements and reduced dependence on external suppliers.

“In-house design, manufacturing, and assembly enable us to achieve a high degree of flexibility, quality, and speed. This creates trust and makes us independent of supply chains or market fluctuations,” Strobel said.
