Scanners – Russia-based Range-Vison will present two new 3D scanners, Pro 2M and Spectrum at the trade fair.
According to Range-Vision, the Pro range professional 3D scanner can digitise objects of different shapes and sizes by simply switching between four scanning zones. The device is equipped with a 2Mpix or 5Mpix industrial camera, the company says. Pro 2M provides very detailed data from complex, intricate and freeform geometries of different-sized objects with an accuracy of up to 0.018 mm and a 3D resolution of up to 0.03 mm, and is thus widely used in manufacturing and design, reverse engineering, quality control, education and science, art and jewellery. It is also easy to use and quick.
Another exhibit at Formnext is Spectrum - a new, semi-professional, ready-to-use 3D scanner based on structured light technology. The device has three scanning zones. Equipped with a 3.1 Mpix industrial colour camera, it can digitise complex surface object geometries with high 3D resolution, with an accuracy of up to 0.04 mm and can digitise objects of various shapes and sizes. Spectrum and its accessories are lightweight (below 23 lbs), allowing for easy transport and offering value for money, the company says.
Range-Vision will be exhibiting in Hall 3.1, Booth A10.
