DME Europe Unit improves temperature control of hot runner systems

The Intelligent Control System, which can be easily installed or retrofitted on a variety of machines offers a compact design with the ability to expand to meet changing requirements, according to supplier DME Europe.

The company said the centerpiece of the system is a 5.7-inch color touch screen with a convenient fold-away mechanism.

The unit’s plug-and-play system architecture does not require any external service.

The controller is a modular system based on 6-zone, 15A control cards with a maximum of up to 48 zones. Configuration is available with either Star or Delta power supply, link switchable, and with up to 63A per phase. The unit’s cabinets come in a desk-mounting case for up to 12 zones and a stand-up case for up to 48 zones.
