Asquith Butler UK machine tool maker to sell Spanish, Czech centres
The new dealer also produces its own machining equipment.
Britain’s Asquith Butler said it is now a dealer for machining centres from Spanish supplier Zayer and Czech manufacturer Sahos.
The company said it will continue to make bespoke large capacity, travelling gantry, vertical machines and travelling-column, horizontal-spindle machines.
Zayer offers bed-type, moving-column, bridge-type and travelling-gantry milling and machining centres and multi-functional machines. The units range from 1,500 x 1,200 x 1,200mm to 30,000 x 5,550 x 1,500mm, are used in the die and mould industry and can have an electro or a mechanical spindle head on the same ram.
Sahos centres range from 2,900 x 1,700 x 800mm to 50,000 x 6,000 x 3,000mm and target aluminum, filled plastics and other materials.
