2019 will be the third time, Moulding Expo will take place in Stuttgart. After two succesfull editions, the organisers at Messe Stuttgart work hard to make the next event in 2019 as good as the last ones. To achieve that, the MEX team has implemented some changes.

A new date, a new parallel event, a new hall layout and a new slogan

Date: To attract more visitors and to make it easier for exhibitors, Messe Stuttgart has decided to hold Moulding Expo earlier in 2019. The date in 2017 was in between several national holidays and school holidays, making it harder especially for visitors with families to visit. In 2019, Moulding Expo will start two weeks earlier, moving the dates further away from any holidays. MEX 2019 will therefore take place from 21 to 24 May 2019.

Parallel Event: The first Moulding Expo, which was held in 2015, was taking part parallel to the Control trade show. The organisers are sure that this was a perfect combination as visitors from each show could profit from visiting the other event. However, it was soon clear that Moulding Expo would grow making it impossible to be held at the same time as Control. This is why MEX 2017 was held as a single show. For 2019, Messe Stuttgart plans to combine the show again with another show because it was so well received in 2017. In 2019, Moulding Expo will therefore be held in conjunction with four automotive shows, namely the Engine Expo, the Automotive Testing Expo Europe, the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers expo and the Automotive Interiors Expo. According to Messe Stuttgart, this is an ideal combination as the automotive industry is strongly interlinked with tool, mould and modelmaking.

Have you been at Moulding Expo 2017? Here is our report of the last edition of the trade show:

Hall Laoyut: Moulding Expo 2019 will take place in three adjacent halls instead of four opposing halls. The trade show will be held in halls 1, 3 and 5, whereas hall 1 is double in sice.

New Slogan: Tool, Model, Mould & You. This will be the new slogan of the trade show. This slogan shows that for Messe Stuttgart, the person itself is an integral part of the trade show.
