CAD/CAM supplier Tebis AG has announced a 2012 sales increase of 7% to €36.6 million, its best result ever.

It said North America and Asia had the most growth, with Germany and Europe also providing strong demand. Asian strength confirms its corporate strategy, Tebis added; it set up a Chinese unit last year.

Features like gun drilling, material removal simulation in real time, and multiple setup have boosted demand. Chairman Bernhard Rindfleisch said, “Optimising production with powerful and mature CAD/CAM functions is an absolute necessity for modern manufacturing operations.”
