The core message of this year’s Hannover Messe is unchanged: “Energizing a sustainable industry”. The path to a successful future for industry continues to lead through sustainable and, above all, efficiently designed manufacturing processes. MES manufacturer Industrie Informatik is delivering networked and, above all, highly flexible software solutions with the further development of its manufacturing platform Cronetworld. This integrative data hub enables the combination of modern technologies with an innovative best-of-breed approach, including a high-performance partner network.

Digitalisation in manufacturing presents companies with a variety of challenges. Technological change is taking place at a rapid pace and the requirements for a smart shop floor are diverse and individual. An MES (Manufacturing Execution System) like cronetwork has been a reliable and central component for decades for controlling, monitoring and optimising production processes.

Thorsten Steger, CCO at Industrie Informatik, also sees a clear development. For him, the classic MES is still the core of production control, but an entire ecosystem of technologies and systems is emerging around it: “Manufacturing is constantly evolving and with it the demands on it. Smart production environments are more flexible, scalable and, above all, highly networked. This is precisely where our manufacturing platform Cronetworld comes into play. The advantage lies in the connection of production, logistics, quality assurance, service, etc. This also facilitates the networking of global locations in real time.” At the Hannover Messe, Steger and his team will be demonstrating how Cronetworld enables the comprehensive integration of the MES core with neighbouring systems and the services of selected technology partners along the entire value chain. The best-of-breed approach is applied, for example, in the areas of machine integration, no-code technology, energy management, and more.

In this context, the Industrie Informatik Solution Store is also a game changer. Comparable to an app store or online shop, the Solution Store provides direct access to a variety of field-tested and optimised best-practice solutions that can be installed and deployed with just a few clicks. This allows companies to access a wide range of proven solutions and save themselves the hassle and expense of expensive reprogramming.

The added value for Steger is obvious: “The main advantage of the Solution Store is that it enables our users to massively reduce the complexity of an MES integration and thus to increase efficiency extremely quickly, save costs and increase flexibility. This is our idea of a smart factory, which we are also pleased to present at the Hannover Messe.”
