MSS Lasers specializes in refurbishing laser-cutting machines, providing service and support to laser users and supplying nitrogen-generation equipment. The company has recently added service engineers, opened a 16,000-ft² (nearly 1,500-m²) showroom and expanded its capacity for laser refurbishment and the building of nitrogen generators. The supply of nitrogen generators is an important part of MSS Lasers’ business. A new modular nitrogen generation system debuted at a recent open house in Rugby.

The AILU survey asked users to rate companies for speed of response, reliability of the call-out response, service engineers’ expertise, availability of replacement parts, cost of replacement parts, cost of the call-out, quality of specialist telephone support, and overall satisfaction.

MSS Lasers has an additional office in Spain and has appointed agents for its products in Turkey, Belgium and Italy. Exports of its used and refurbished laser-cutting machines are running at 40% now.

Carlos Gonzalez-Lee, founder and managing director, says: “When we opened our new showroom in 2010, we were investing in preparation for the economic upturn and we anticipated 100% growth within three to five years. During 2011, our turnover grew by 83%, and we anticipate it growing further in 2012, enabling us to achieve our targets in well under three years.”
