“The trade fair was very well attended," says the company owner Andreas Geyer. "We had the opportunity to talk in depth with visitors, including from international markets.” According to the company, the highlight of its presence was the 3D-printed collapsible core. “The new 3D collapsible core has a special spiral-shaped cooling duct. This provides fast cycle times with excellent moulded part quality and as such allows significant cost savings in production,” says Geyer.

Fakuma, international trade Fair for Plastics Processing, attracted more visitors and exhibitors to Friedrichshafen in 2017 than at last year's edition.
