Software company Sprutcam Tech has launched an update for Sprutcam X and Sprutcam X Robot, version 17.0.13, introducing over 100 enhancements including workflow improvements and bug fixes. Among the notable updates is an enhanced job assignment feature for 6D contour operations, which now allows for easier detection and selection of part pocket edges. The update also includes improvements in spline handling, such as faster shift and rotate operations and a more efficient user interface for spline transformation parameters.

Major fixes include correcting simulation errors in multi-task machining, refining the post processor tutorial, and resolving issues with 5D Surfacing and Waterline undercut operations. The company has also addressed machining project challenges, such as errors when saving projects and exporting from Machine Maker to Sprutcam X, and improved system stability and performance, particularly in RAM management and tool visualization.

This comprehensive update aims to improve functionality and usability, addressing key areas such as simulation errors in multi-task machining, post processor tutorials, and system stability.
