Against this background, the FA Tool for 3D tool and operating medium management from Germany’s Fasys uses already existing CAD systems for the 3D construction and passes on the relevant models, linked to technical parameters, directly to CAM systems or simulation programs.

The supplier explained that it has developed an interface from FA Tool to the following systems that generate 3D models and component groups: PTC Creo, Solidworks, Siemens NX and Topsolid CAD.
