Co-operation Software, accessory suppliers link databases with interface
The upgrade improves machining simulation.
British software supplier CG Tech, the developer of Vericut CNC verification and simulation software, and Germany’s Zoller, the presetting and measuring machine manufacturer and tool management solution provider, have announced that they have created a new interface between their databases.
The connection from Vericut to the Zoller Tools Management Solutions (TMS) enables users to quickly transfer a complete set of cutting tools for a job to Vericut from the German company’s database, according to the manufacturers. The Vericut software can then be used to simulate CNC machining to identify errors in NC programs.
The application is intended to provide manufacturers with the ability to verify program accuracy before loading onto the machine. This is said to reduce or eliminate the need for manual prove-outs and optimise cutting speeds.
