The company’s Smartfill nozzle features melt channel geometry and novel heating technology that is claimed to enable operators to process almost all types of plastic, including engineering plastics with extremely high processing temperature.

“Fox” represents the new generation of Fuchslocher injection nozzles. PSG has extended its product range and now offers injection nozzles with thread diameters ranging from 30 to 70 mm. The Fox series can be fitted to new machines or retrofitted to existing injection molding equipment. The completely redesigned Fox 70, the largest injection nozzle in the series, is designed for injection units with threads up to 70mm diameter, the company from Mannheim says.

On the stand too will be Pipeline, PSG's new hot runner operating system. While conventional systems require each operating unit to be connected with four pipes – two for hydraulic fluid and two for cooling – and consequent complexity and impact on performance, PSG says that Pipeline requires only two pipes: a pressure line and a return line.

The company notes that this new hot runner operating system offers significant technical and economic advantages, including a reduced number of pipes, increased mold plate stability, faster pin switching, and savings in water cooling.
