Enemac Simple and fast clamping of consistently large parts

Achieving clamping forces of up to 40 kN by hand is almost impossible, therefore, lever or expensive special tools need to be used. These are often procured only for individual cases, at great expense. A cheaper and multiple usable solution for such cases serves the workholding specialist Enemac from Kleinwallstadt, Germany.

The power clamping nuts of series ESBS and ESBT with their integrated planetary gear can be driven by a handle easily and without great effort. By turning the handle, the internal thread is slightly drawn in, thus, the counterpart is tightened. With this simple concept, a force of about 4t can easily be manually exercised by all workers without any tools, Enemac says.

After screwing the nut on the existing bolt by hand, the top-mounted handle is turned clockwise until the workpiece is clamped. The nuts are equipped with a locking mechanism and tighten securely and quickly each workpiece or tool. Further series with through-hole threads are available, for clamping components with varying heights. Both types are available as standard for thread sizes from M10 to M20, on request also with special threads.
