For the second consecutive year, Messe Stuttgart is awarding a scholarship for the advanced degree programme “Project Manager (FH) for Tool and Mould Making”.
Messe Stuttgart is awarding a scholarship for the VDWF advanced degree programme “Project Manager (FH) for Tool and Mould Making” at the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences.
At Moulding Expo (MEX), Messe Stuttgart will provide a comprehensive overview of the courses and all its offerings and will be actively involved in the further training of young people in tool, model and mould-making. For this sector in particular, structural change remains a constant challenge, which is why continuous further training for technicians and engineers is a must, VDWF says.
The scholarship is for the winter semester of 2019/20 at the university to enable the student to continue his education for two semesters, which amounts to about €5,000 that is sponsored by Messe Stuttgart.
“Our commitment to promoting young talent and training skilled workers is a matter close to our hearts. We want to take responsibility for the industry,” says Florian Niethammer, team leader at MEX. “The financial support by Messe Stuttgart should be seen less as a sponsorship but more as a partnership.”
