The customer should be able to choose how and when to interact with us and do business. With the new website we hope we can guide them in that process.”
The company said the search engine now offers a fully searchable database of indexed content such as articles, product codes, product families, videos and images. With the help of autocomplete functionality, the search engine guides users to the appropriate information.
The online ordering service is said to allow customers to purchase products directly through the site and has registration for new customers, pricing, product availability information, package tracking, and order and invoice history.
An advanced tooling service provides cutting tool recommendations based on user parameters such as “working material” and “task”, the company explained. All product information is based on the new ISO standard 13399 to ensure quality product data.
In addition, the site offers local content and events, providing users with the latest news in a given market and the possibility to register to attend local training events and educational seminars.
