Millutensil Rotating table for adjusting three-component moulds
Italy – Millutensil offers an integrated rotating table in its BV28E/R-G and BV30E/R-G die & mould spotting presses that can adjust up to three-component moulds.

The Italy-based company explains that a first component/colour is injected into the mould during production. The mould is then split, rotated and closed, followed by the injection of a second component. Lastly, the mould is split again, rotated a further 120°, closed, and finally a third component is injected.
As a consequence, three-component moulds also need specific adjusting in the three positions from 0° to 120°, and subsequent positioning with rotations in 120°-steps. The rotating table also facilitates the adjusting of two-component moulds, with 0° and 180° positions, the company says. Thus, the mould is said to be well-integrated in the spotting press, permitting the use of the entire plate surface for the mould-fixing.
