For low-cost internal cooling retrofitting of driven tools, Rego-Fix offers the Re-Cool cooling system, which was on display during EMO in Hanover, Germany.

According to the supplier, Re-Cool allows manufacturers to retrofit their driven tools to benefit from internal or peripheral cooling.

This method is said to be much more effective for delivering the coolant to the cutting edge when compared to spray pipes or nozzles, which can sometimes be blocked by sections of the workpiece.

Designed to extend machine tool life, the system can be retrofitted to older tools to allow users to prolong the operational life of milling cutters and drills, the company said.
